This Privacy Policy explains what information the mobile game Edo's Pizza Delivery ("the Game", "we") collects, why, and what rights you have.
The data controller is the developer of the Game, based in Italy. For any question or request regarding your data, please use the contact form.
The following stays on your device and is never sent to us:
Uninstalling the Game deletes this data.
When you finish a run that beats your previous best, the Game sends the following to Google Cloud Firestore:
| Data | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Nickname you chose | To display your entry on the public leaderboard |
| Score and number of deliveries | To rank players |
| Timestamp of the record | To order entries and detect abuse |
| Anonymous identifier (Firebase Anonymous Auth UID) | To keep one entry per player and prevent tampering with other players' entries |
The anonymous identifier is generated by Firebase, is not linked to a Google account, and does not identify you personally. It is reset if you uninstall and reinstall the Game.
To stop fake scores being injected by scripts, the Game uses Firebase App Check with Google Play Integrity. This verifies that requests come from an unmodified copy of the Game on a genuine Android device. It processes technical device attestation data, not personal information.
The Game shows advertising, including optional rewarded videos you may choose to watch to continue a run. Advertising is served by Google AdMob, which may process:
Google acts as an independent controller for this processing. See How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services and the Google Privacy Policy.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the first time you open the Game you are asked to choose whether you accept personalised advertising. You can change your choice at any time from Privacy settings on the Game's main screen.
| Processing | Legal basis (GDPR) |
|---|---|
| Personalised advertising | Your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) |
| Non-personalised advertising | Legitimate interest in funding a free game (Art. 6(1)(f)), where permitted |
| Online leaderboard | Your request to take part, i.e. performance of the service you asked for (Art. 6(1)(b)) |
| Anti-abuse and integrity checks | Legitimate interest in a fair leaderboard (Art. 6(1)(f)) |
We use Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC (Firebase, Firestore, Authentication, App Check, AdMob) as providers. Data may be processed on servers outside the EEA; Google relies on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. We do not sell your data and do not share it with any other third party.
You may ask us to access, correct or delete the data associated with your leaderboard entry, to restrict or object to processing, and to receive it in a portable format. Send your request through the contact form.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Italy this is the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).
The Game is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country) and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has submitted a nickname to the leaderboard, let us know through the contact form and we will remove it.
Leaderboard writes are restricted by server-side security rules: each player can only write their own entry, values are validated, and entries cannot be deleted or altered by other players.
We may update this policy; the "last updated" date above will change accordingly. Significant changes will be announced in the Game.
For any question about this policy or about your data, write to the developer through the contact form.
